FYI – Cool New Release: The Answer to Membership Site Dilemma

Have you wanted to have your own membership site and been overwhelmed by the choices, features and related cost? And that’s before you have to set it up, right?!

If you currently have a membership site, is it serving you well? Or do you still yearn for those additional options or functions that would make life easier?

Actually, I have been underwhelmed by the membership site programs offered, because so often I have wanted or needed different features that just weren’t available. If my requirements were nearly met, the cost was prohibitive.

A new membership site platform called Extreme Member has just been released that is simple, quick and offers a lot of cool features!

If you add up expenses for maintaining an auto-responder and/or mailing list program, and any other separately-maintained and disjointed services for your business, you will most likely discover you can cut some of your expenses, while adding features and services, to increase profits. A few memberships, and the Extreme Member system pays for itself! If the cost were not self-liquidating, I would not think it worthwhile.

In addition to the membership site management capabilities and auto-responder, this cool new all-in-one system also includes:

An Affiliate Marketing System

Payment Integration

WordPress Blogging Platform with professional design and Free Hosting

In addition to the features on the Extreme Member platform, I especially like the added ease and efficiency of an integrated system. If I have a choice, I opt to work smarter, because I know I can’t work harder! I imagine most of us want to work this way, too. Having related tools consolidated in one easy to access place.

If you have a membership site, a mailing list, affiliate programs — or plan to establish them, this looks like a great way to effectively consolidate your efforts on one big, powerful platform!

Social Networking Debate: Friendfeed vs. Twitter

In social networking circles, the comparison between Friendfeed and Twitter is ongoing!

If you were wondering about the bottomline performance as well as the size differential between these 2 social networking mediums, here is an interesting article written by Michael Arrington of TechCrunch.

Based on my experience, I think the “subscription” procedure for Friendfeed gives an advantage in the service’s numbers. For example, the way Friendfeed is set up, subscribing to your Facebook Friends’ feeds is simple and practically automatic.

Friendfeed offers a comprehensive means to receive social networking updates and news items. The service of aggregating multiple feeds makes keeping current a lot easier.

To be completely fair, it does not appear we are comparing exactly the same types of social networking tools in actuality.

In the meantime, I use both. :)

May I follow you?

All this make me wonder:

  • What do you think about these two social networking tools?
  • What has your personal experience been with Friendfeed and Twitter?
  • Do you have a preferred social networking tool?

…and the debate rages on!
